More than 1,000 sheep return from the alpine pastures in Grub in Langtaufers. They are identified by markings on their ears so that the respective farmers can "schoaden" (separate) them from the other animals, hence the term "Schafschoad". The Schafschoad is a very traditional event for farmers, and locals and guests enjoy witnessing it. The end of the event is celebrated with tasty Schöpsernem (lamb) and appropriate music.
