Our quality criteria
All farmhouse inns and wine taverns recommended in "Bäuerlicher Feinschmecker" (Rural Gourmet Guide) were selected by "Red Rooster" and awarded the seal of quality. Among other things, the following criteria were decisive:

Over 80% of the products come from their own farm and from other farms in South Tyrol.
Over 30% of the products come from their own farm and field.
No ready-made meals are allowed. Only dishes that are 100% homemade are on the menu.
Guests are offered at least 3 homemade juices.
The eggs used in the kitchen come from South Tyrolean free-range farms.
The distillates offered come from farm production in South Tyrol.
Additional criterion for Buschenschänke: guests are only served wine that comes 100% from the farm's own vineyards.
Additional criterion for Hofschänke: Guests are served dishes with meat from the farm's own mountain farm.
