Honey fruit bread

This bread made with honey, dried fruit and nuts is best served warm with butter.

Ingredients
Makes 1 loaf
180 MIN.
  • 350 ml
    milk
  • 30 g
    yeast
  • 100 g
    honey
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 500 g
    spelt or wholemeal flour
  • 150 g
    walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 300 g
    dried fruit
  • 100 g
    raisins
  • 100 ml
    cream
  • 80 g
    butter
  • butter and flour for the tin

Instructions - Honey fruit bread
  • circle-dashed 1.
    Step
    Work all the ingredients together and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and allow to rest in a warm place for an hour.

    Grease a loaf tin with butter and dust with flour.

    Place the dough in the tin, cover and leave to stand again for 30 minutes.

    Finally bake for 50 - 60 minutes at 200° C
