Winemakers and producers present their current vintages and reserve bottlings along with one or two older varieties at the Bozen Wine Tasting event. This is one of the most traditional events in the town of Bozen and a popular showcase for the South Tyrolean wine industry. The first edition of a wine tasting event in Bozen goes back to Spring 1896, when more than 100 wines were tasted, compared, and judged in the Torgglhaus. The renowned Bozen Wine Tasting Event has developed since then.
