First mentioned in records in 1315, the farm on Kreuzweg has been home to the von Payr family for centuries. Now with a new name - Weinhof Von Payr - farmer Monika and cellar master Hannes are daring to make a new start and cellar their grapes themselves. Monika grew up on the farm and took over her parents' business. She attended a secondary school for agriculture and looks after the family, house, farm and garden. One of her particular passions is keeping her old breed chickens, which roam freely among the vines. She also helps her husband Hannes in the vineyards. Hannes also attended secondary school for agriculture and then studied oenology. As the cellar master for many years, he looks after the vineyards, bees and, above all, the production and the wine cellar.
