The solids of their own grapes have been turned into high quality grappa for over fifty year at the Fischerhof farm in Schreckbichl/Colterenzio near Girlan/Cornaiano. Recently, first class fruit distillates have also been produced from Williams pears, apricots and other fruit and berries, breathing new life into the old tradition. The orchards and vineyards of the Fischerhof are mostly located around the farm and in the nearby Etschtal valley. In addition to various apple varieties such as Royal Gala, Granny Smith, Fuji and Kanzi, the grape varieties Schiava, Pinot Noir, Goldmuskateller, Gewürztraminer and Lagrein are also grown. In addition, there are a large number of tall fruit trees on the farm whose fruits are also refined into fine distillates.

Processing
The trained cellar master Martin Mauracher produces up to 50 different distillates and liqueurs in the farm's own distillery. Only flawless and harvest-ready fruits are mashed and processed. The storage in wooden barrels ensures a special maturity and gives the distillates a unique taste.
