In the middle of the Dolomites, in the Gadertal/Val Badia valley, set at 1,400 metres above sea level, the Valentin family is dedicated to producing various types of cheese and yoghurt following traditional methods. The farm's cheese dairy and small shop were opened in 2006. Animals are kept in conditions appropriate to the species, which, along with the lush green meadows and fields, guarantees that the products are of a consistently high quality.

The farm includes 15 hectares of meadows on which nutritious fodder for the cows grows. The location in the midst of untouched nature is the best prerequisite for high-quality cheese production.

The farm cheese dairy is right next to the stable. Here, the milk from the farm's own cows is processed into cheese, yoghurt and butter by hand. A special feature is the so-called "grey cheese". It is not only used in typical South Tyrolean dishes, such as gray cheese dumplings, but also tastes great when served with onions and olive oil.
