Christian Pinggera is a real jack-of-all-trades. Whether as conductor of the local wind band, in stand-up cabaret artist with his father Hans, or as a farmer, waiter and sommelier: he cuts a fine figure everywhere. But he prefers to leave the cooking to others. The boss in the kitchen is Margarethe. She has learnt the art of cooking from his mother Rosa over many years and now skilfully puts this knowledge into practice. Christian's father, Hans Pinggera, was a waiter at the farm for many years. He is now a celebrity at the farm. There is hardly a regular guest who does not ask about him and seek him out for a chat.
