Is hiking your passion and the only thing you have on your mind when you are on holiday? A walking farm is not only an ideal starting point in the South Tyrolean mountains, but it also caters to mountain enthusiasts with guided tours and selected hiking suggestions from the farm family.
Is hiking your passion and the only thing you have on your mind when you are on holiday? A walking farm is not only an ideal starting point in the South Tyrolean mountains, but it also caters to mountain enthusiasts with guided tours and selected hiking suggestions from the farm family.
A hiking farm fulfils the following criteria:
- a classification of at least four flowers.
- breakfast with at least twelve different products.
- a packed lunch with at least two of the farm's own products.
- the farm is located directly on a marked hiking trail or in the immediate vicinity.
- a family member offers a weekly guided hike.
- guests are also welcome for just one night.
- the farm family has good knowledge of the nearby hiking area and can provide information on possible hiking tours.
- the farm folder contains ten hiking routes with descriptions.
- hiking maps of surrounding areas are available for guests to take.
- up-to-date information about the general weather conditions.
- rain protection, rucksacks and telescopic poles to hire.
- a drying room for hiking shoes and hiking gear.
- the bedrooms have wooden floors.
- specialist literature on the topics of hiking, mountains, flora and fauna, and fitness is available in German and Italian.
