A Kneipp farm fulfils the following criteria:

• a classification of at least four flowers.
• breakfast with at least twelve different products and herbal tea, juice, grain coffee, fresh grain porridge, honey and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Most of the food is nutritious and balanced.
• at least three non-alcoholic, farm-made drinks on offer.
• at least four of the farm's own products available to buy.
• member of the South Tyrolean Kneipp Association.
• a member of the family is a certified Kneipp health trainer with a valid licence and looks after the guests.
• two supervised Kneipp treatments are offered by a member of the family.
• a bathing room for Kneipp treatments.
• the showers are equipped with affusion pipes or a combined shower head.
• opportunities for walking barefoot, dew walking, treading water or arm bathing near the farm.
• space for relaxation in nature and inside the house.
• a green area completely separated from traffic.
• a house and herb garden for the guests.
• quiet location with little traffic.
• no high-voltage lines above the farmstead.
• at least three pieces of sports equipment available to hire.
• the accommodation furniture and doors are made of solid wood.
• the bedrooms have wooden floors.
• all interiors are non-smoking zones.
• if arriving or leaving by bus or train, the guest will be picked up or dropped off personally.
• the farm folder contains information about the Kneipp treatments available.
• specialist literature on the topics of health and well-being is available in German and Italian.
