A historical farm fulfils the following criteria:

  • a classification of at least four flowers.
  • breakfast with at least twelve different products.
  • when serving food, special value is placed on traditional products and dishes.
  • at least four of the farm's own products available to buy.
  • typical local construction and historical style elements. The outer walls of the residential building are from the 19th century or older.
  • the historical building must predominate and may have been renovated, but not replaced.
  • new or additional buildings are clearly distinguishable from the historical old building and blend in harmoniously.
  • the furnishings consist largely of antique solid wood furniture.
  • natural materials are used in the furnishings.
  • the floors are not covered with plastic, carpets or other synthetic materials.
  • the bedrooms have wooden floors.
  • farm tours beyond the historical walls.
  • traditional farm equipment can be seen and experienced.
  • rural culture and customs are preserved and can be experienced.
  • quiet, natural corners and viewpoints invite you to linger.
  • the farm folder contains information about the history of the farm, old customs and legends, as well as everyday life on the farm in the past and today.
  • specialist literature on the topics of customs and rural life is available in German and Italian.
