The farm
The organic farm is in a beautiful and secluded location, surrounded by woods, hedges and grassland. Near the farm, you can explore the medicinal plant trail. Next to the pond is our vegetable garden, from where a dirt track leads to our garden and terrace full of currants and raspberries. (On 19 August 2025, the Laimburg Research Centre, Ms Kathrin Plunger, presented us with the plaque and certificate for ecological gardening ‘Natur im Garten’/’Nature in the Garden’, as our farm meets all the core criteria for biodiversity required for this award).
In the guest wing – with its window front – you will be treated to a wonderful view of the valley and the Dolomites.
At Unterstein, you can enjoy a sustainably relaxing holiday: in the eco-friendly room, at breakfast and dinner (vegetarian or vegan options available on request) with many farm-fresh products, in the barn with the animals, doing courses, in the pond and in the Kneipp bathing house.
