The farm
Experience a modern holiday at our farmstead, set amidst stunning Mediterranean views. Nestled amongst our own vineyards and close to Lake Kaltern, our Klimahaus A offers five exclusive holiday apartments designed for your comfort. We – Elfriede, Norbert, Michi and his family, and Willi Thaler (known as ‘Tholr’ in the South Tyrolean dialect) – run our fruit and wine-growing business with passion as a family.
Enjoy the central location in the South Tyrolean Unterland as an ideal base: whether hiking, cycling, swimming or taking trips to the Dolomites, Lake Garda, or shopping in Bozen and Meran – everything is easily accessible thanks to the excellent links to the public transport network. Our apartments combine high-quality design with rustic authenticity. Step out onto the sunny lawn, let your gaze wander over the Etsch river valley and enjoy the warm hospitality.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Via the A22 Brenner motorway, exit Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin. At the crossroads with the South Tyrolean Wine Route, turn left in the direction of Rungg and Kurtatsch, continue at St. Valentin's Church until after a long right-hand bend on the mountain side, you will see the turn-off to Rungg. On the left side you see our modern farm surrounded by the typical limestone walls.
If you prefer to travel via the South Tyrolean Wine Route, you can also leave the A22 motorway at Bozen Süd.
Coming over the Reschen Pass to Meran, take the Meran-Bozen expressway to the Eppan exit. The South Tyrolean Wine Road takes you past Lake Kaltern to Tramin. You leave Tramin at the southern end of the village and continue in the direction of Kurtatsch. Take the turnoff to Rungg, you will see our modern farm on the left-hand side.
