The farm
The Matzilerhof is located at 1448 m above sea level in the middle of the small mountain village of St. Jakob in the Pfitscher Hochtal valley. Authentic, small structured family business with dairy farming.
Ideal for family holidays: interactive learning about everyday farming life, dealing with animals, plenty of room to play, relax and walk. In addition, the Pfitscher valley is a natural paradise and offers relaxation.
Our farm is the starting point for numerous mountain bike and mountain tours of various levels of difficulty, as well as for snowshoe hikes and ski tours. Cross-country skiing paradise with 30 km of fun slopes right outside the front door. Integrated in the Tiroler Höhenweg and station of the Munich-Venice crossing of the Alps. Quiet, low-traffic location at the foot of the majestic Hochfeiler in the middle of the Zillertal Alps. Nordic walking park in the immediate vicinity.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Coming from the north and south, take the Sterzing exit on the Brenner motorway. At the roundabout, turn immediately right and after about 500 m turn right again. Drive another 200 m and turn left into Pfitschtal. Follow the valley always along the river on the main road to the village of St. Jakob. Our farm is in the middle of the village, right next to the fire station.
