The farm
The Marxhof is a family-friendly cattle and wine farm in the South Tyrolean village of Barbian. Our farm is located on a sunny slope at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Schlern, which, together with the light-coloured rock formations of the Dolomites, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vineyards, orchards and chestnut groves surround the Marxhof. The fruit trees and the vegetable garden provide fresh products almost all year round, which are processed on our farm into home-made wine, apple juice and fruity jams. Various herbs and vegetables as well as raspberries and strawberries grow in the farm's own garden. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, you can enjoy your holiday here. An unforgettable experience during your farm holiday at the Marxhof is a personal tour of the farm followed by wine tasting.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Arriving from the south:
Leave the motorway at Bozen Nord. Then continue towards Brixen. Shortly after the village of Kollmann, turn left and drive in the direction of Barbian. At the 3rd bend turn left and after approx. 500 m you will be with us.
Arriving from the north:
Leave the autobahn at the Klausen exit. Then drive in the direction of Bozen and at Waidbruck turn right and drive in the direction of Barbian. At the 3rd bend turn left and after approx. 500 m you will be with us.
If you arrive by public transport, the nearest bus stop is 400 m from our farm. We will be happy to pick you up there or directly at the train station and bring you back on the day of departure.
