The farm
We, the Rier family, run the Marmsolhof, a dairy farm in Castelrotto and have been breeding Tyrolean gray cattle for generations. Our animals spend the summer months on the pastures of the Seiser Alm. The farm also includes the Marmsolerschwaige, which is located on the Seiser Alm in Saltria. Our farm is in St. Valentin near Kastelruth, in a sunny, quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests with a direct view of the Schlern and the surrounding mountains. Ideal starting point for numerous hikes and 100 m from the ski bus stop, from which you can get to the cable car in Seis. We rent out three lovingly furnished holiday apartments for 2 - 8 people on the farm and a large holiday apartment for 2 - 8 people on the alpine hut.
