Farm holiday in Mölten

The Lochbauer is located above the small village of Mölten at 1350 meters above sea level. The farm was first mentioned in a document as early as 1777, since then cattle have been kept on the extensive larch meadows of the Tschöggelberg, grain has been grown and fruit and vegetables grown in order to be able to live as self-sufficiently as possible. It is this model that we have in mind for the "new" Lochbauer. Cows and calves, oxen and pigs, chickens, sheep and a horse live on our farm – just like back then.
Our own Lochbauer products are made from what they deliver, from what our fields and meadows have to offer, from what grows in our garden. These are served to our guests at breakfast.
We also followed this tradition with the complete renovation of the Lochbauerhof in 2019. So we have merged the traditional rural architecture of South Tyrol with modern, clear lines, we have used natural materials as much as possible, especially wood.
