The farm
Family-friendly wine farm in a quiet location at the foot of the Mendel Mountains. We work our vineyards, which are located directly on Lake Kaltern. There is also our wine cellar and the farm shop selling wine, juices, jams, fruit and vegetables. Our guests really appreciate being able to enjoy the beautiful view, breakfast or a good glass of wine on the terrace in the Haus zur Traube.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Our house is located on the upper outskirts of Kaltern, in the Pfuss district. You drive through the center of Kaltern, up the Europastrasse in the direction of the Mendel Pass. Do not turn left where the Mendelbahn sign is, but continue straight ahead. Two zebra crossings follow at a distance of approx. 200 m, the second is an intersection where you turn left. There is also a sign "Haus zur Traube". From there it is about 100 m to our house.
If you are coming from Bozen, take the right exit at the roundabout at the entrance to the town, drive along Maria Theresien Straße, past the schools, across the Rottenburg car park, then immediately turn right up the somewhat steep Mendelstraße to Mitterdorf, continue left at the fire station to the crossroads in the direction of St. Nikolaus. At the St. Anton/Pfuss crossing, just 50 m further, then turn left. At this point there is also a sign with "Haus zur Traube".
