Gatscherhof farm is set in the heart of the picturesque holiday region of Kiens in Pustertal valley, a place that is perfect for relaxation seekers, nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Surrounded by lush green meadows, peaceful forests and the impressive panorama of the South Tyrolean Alps, the farm offers an idyllic setting for an unforgettable holiday.
Regionality, quality and animal welfare are the focus. Around 20 cows – mainly 'Fleckvieh' and 'Braunvieh' breeds – graze mostly on pasture and are fed silage-free hay. The result: high-quality raw milk, the basis for all cheese and dairy products.
In the cheese dairy, specialities such as spicy mountain cheese, matured 'Graukäse', creamy yoghurt, fresh butter and creative cheese variations are produced with a great deal of craftsmanship and passion. In the farm shop, guests can taste, buy and take part in guided tours by appointment.
Away from traffic amidst rural peace and quiet, everyone will find plenty of chances to relax.
