The farm
Our fruit farm Fohlenhof is located in the heart of Vinschgau valley and is the ideal starting point for beautiful hikes and bike tours. It was built almost exactly 200 years ago by the Austrian Emperor Franz the First as a stud farm and clinic for horses.
Since then it has become solely a fruit farm with cosy holiday apartments. Its central location makes it a popular holiday destination.
In summer it is only a few minutes' walk to the public outdoor pool. You can also get everything you need in Laas. There is a butcher's, baker's, clothes shops, and a couple of supermarkets.
Laas is known worldwide for its white marble.
