Every year, Martelltal valley in Vinschgau, the highest strawberry-growing area in Europe, invites you to the South Tyrolean Strawberry Festival. From Saturday noon to Sunday evening, the focus is on strawberries at the Trattla amusement park. In addition to the cutting of the giant strawberry cake on Saturday, there’s an open day at the Strawberry Growers’ Cooperative building, and the Laimburg food research field can be visited. Children can go on strawberry walks and visitors can find out about South Tyrolean quality products. And all this takes place in a festive atmosphere with music, food and drink.
