This year, hundreds of runners will again take on this mountain marathon (42 km), which reaches an altitude of 2,500 metres. The course starts at Prad am Stilfserjoch at 915 metres above sea level and leads to Glurns before heading back up from Prad through the distinctive mountain village of Stilfs. To finish off, the runners have to confront the legendary serpentine bends of the Stilfserjoch pass road. The finishing line is at a height of 2,757 metres on the Stilfserjoch, surrounded by the magnificent mountain landscape around King Ortler.
