The Sterntaler Christmas Market in Lana invites you to wander round, enjoy yourself, and shop in the Lana pedestrian zone during the Advent weekends. The pre-Christmas atmosphere in Lana is particularly cosy. Without hustle and bustle or crowds, visitors can admire the 20 festively-decorated Christmas stalls in the Kapuzinergarten (gardens of the historic Capuchin Monastery). A glass of hot mulled wine or your own Sterntaler drink will make you forget the cold instantly,and your rumbling stomach can be satisfied with farmer's flatbread, goulash soup, Schupfnudeln (dumplings) and many other delicacies. This year as always at the Sterntaler Christmas Market, the Sterntaler girl will be collecting money for a good cause from the Sterntaler lottery. In addition, there will be a varied supporting programme for the whole family and on New Year's Eve the food stalls will even be open until after midnight.
