In Innichen every year, you can watch ten teams turning huge blocks of snow into artistic sculptures using tools such as barbed wire, saws, snow shovels and water with lots of imagination, a quest for perfection and feel for snow.

After three days’ hard work, the teams present their snow sculptures to the panel to be judged.

Locals and guests can rate the work as well and help decide who wins this top art event.

Weather permitting, the artworks may be admired up until the first warm days of spring.
