Runners from around ten nations take part in this cross-border run from Innichen to Sillian in East Tyrol.
The Upper Pustertal Valley Run between Innichen (South Tyrol) and Sillian (East Tyrol) draws around 750 sportswomen and men from over ten nations every year. The run traditionally starts in Sillian with the Raiffeisen Kids and Junior Run. The 21.1 km half marathon and the 12.1 km Raiffeisen Classic Run both start in Innichen with Sillian in Austria as the finishing point. The finale of the event is on Sunday with the STO Mountain Run Sprint over 3.7 km from the market square in Sillian to Stalpen (450 amsl). The organizers of the Upper Pustertal Valley Run add a special touch to the event by supporting a different social project each year.
