Harvest Thanksgiving Festival

The Harvest Thanksgiving Festival on Walther Square in Bolzano is one of the most popular events in South Tyrol and attracts thousands of visitors every year. This lively farmers' market offers a good chance to meet producers, and to taste and buy a vast range of farm products, including juices, schnapps, wine, fruit spreads and honey, processed dairy products, herbs, dried fruit, eggs and sausages. The harvest festival features not only a large number of direct traders, however; local associations and organizations set up stands to display their activities and projects. The supporting programme consists of musical interludes, a petting zoo and a vintage tractor show.
