The South Tyrol Drei Zinnen (Three Peaks) Alpine Run covers over 17.5 km and reaches an altitude of 1,350 metres. After circling the village of Sexten, the route goes to Moos, then into Fischlein Valley, onwards to the Fischleinboden and Talschluss mountain huts, then further ahead to the Zsigmond and Büllelejoch huts. After the Büllelejoch it turns right directly above the Böden lakes to the Drei Zinnen huts. Around 1,000 runners take part, and are rewarded for the demanding run by the stunning mountain backdrop of the Sexten Dolomites.
