Thanks to the Mediterranean-Alpine climate in South Tyrol, crocuses sprout from the earth on the mountain meadows of Mölten in spring, and open their calyxes as if toasting the end of winter. That’s why the crocus festival takes place in April right at the Wetterkreuz signpost on the Mölten Joch. After a short hike to enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama, you are greeted by a sea of spring flowers and tasty delicacies. The Mölten music band and the Mölten Schuhplattler dancers provide a great atmosphere.
