You can wander through the old town’s artistic lanes, try out some delicious treats, or simply just feel free to enjoy yourself. This traditional festival takes place on three consecutive days every two years. It has been organised for over two decades by numerous Brixen associations. Locals and guests from all over the world can look forward to lots of fun and entertainment. As well as typical South Tyrolean musical and theatrical performances, there will be a wide range of delicious culinary treats on offer at lots of stalls in the old town centre. The event starts off on Friday with the arrival of the Old Town Committee and guests of honour, accompanied by a procession through the old town centre, followed by the opening of the festival. A religious service is celebrated in the cathedral on Sunday. The festival ends on Sunday at 22.00.
