Filmmakers from Italy and our closest neighbours, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, come to South Tyrol for this festival and provide an insight into the contemporary European films which are unconstrained by convention or mainstream limitations. A central part of the festival is its competitions and prizes, which include prizes for the best feature film and best documentary, and an audience award. This festival is particulary enriched by its special multilingual mix of films and guests, and film enthusiasts can exchange ideas with each other.
