The farm

Schwarzielhof farm is in Feldthurns on the sunny side of the Eisack river valley at 630m above sea level. The family business is run by Andreas Sigmund and his son, Matthias, according to the principles of integrated farming. Delicious, 100% natural apple juice is produced by selecting perfectly ripened apples from the farm and carefully processing them.

Knowing where it's from

The apple orchards of the Sigmund family are in a sunny location in Feldthurns. So that the apples can develop their full flavour, they are left on the tree until they are fully ripe. Due to the altitude of 630 m, the apples grow under large temperature fluctuations between day and night. As a result, they develop particularly intense aromas that make up the sought-after taste of their apple juice.

Processing

After the harvest, the apples are sorted by hand before being washed and processed into a puree. Then it is gently pressed. The pressed cloudy juice is stored in barrels so that the coarse trub can be separated. In the end, an excellent naturally cloudy apple juice, free from additives and preservatives, comes into the glass bottle.
