The Burger family lives at Oberfreihof at 1,500 meters above sea level. The young farmer Julia and her husband Klaus became interested in keeping quails. It is important to them that their animals feel comfortable on the farm and they show a lot of diligence and commitment to do so. Julia sets no limits to her creativity and keeps developing new creations with her quail eggs, from eggnog to candles in the eggshell. In addition to the quails, Julia takes great pains to look after the cows in the barn, the garden and the sale of their products. Her husband Klaus and her father Gustl can usually be found working on the farm, with hay and woodwork. Gustl's great hobby are also his horses. Julia's mother Christine is the good soul at the farm who keeps everything together. She is also a creative mind when it comes to handicrafts and decorating at the farm.
