The farm

The 'Mitterflitzhof' enjoys an idyllic position in Flitz in the district of Villnöss/Funes at an altitude of 1,350 m. Around 2,000 free range hens have been raised on the farm since 2003. GM-free hen feed and the wide open spaces are ideal for producing healthy, high quality eggs, which are on sale in selected specialist shops.

The location is stunning. In the Flitzer valley, a side valley of Villnöss, the chickens live with a view of the famous Geisler peaks. GMO-free feeding and sufficient exercise offer the best conditions for high-quality free-range eggs.

The free-range eggs are checked for damage and washed. They are then sorted, coded according to origin and type of husbandry and packed in boxes of four or six.

Together with his wife Waltraud, Konrad Lambacher set up a chicken farm on their parents' farm in Villnöss. The retired long-distance truck driver devotes himself to the field and stable work while his wife delivers the fresh eggs to the local shops.
