The Ausserloretzhof is located directly on the bike path in Laas. The farm's landmark is the old "Kondlwaal" on the west side of the farm, an irrigation canal whose history dates back to the 12th century. The Tappeiner family pursues an extremely "ingenious activity", distilling schnapps. Fine distillates are produced with great care in the farm's own distillery.

The fruit and berries for the refinement of the distillates grow around the Ausserloretzhof in Laas. The sunny climate in Vinschgau allows the raw materials to mature in the highest quality. As a special feature, rare types of fruit such as Palabirn, Gute Luise or Vinschger apricots are also grown on the farm. They give the distillates a unique touch.
