This family-friendly winter hike leads across the wide Rodeneck-Lüsen Alp. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views, discover the artworks on the Creation Trail and stop at several mountain huts. The route is ideal for a relaxed winter day.

From the petrol station in the centre of Mühlbach take the street down in direction to Rodeneck. Pass by the villages St. Pauls e Nauders to the house “Spritzenhütte” (old wooden house). Turn left and go up to the parking lot Zumis.

The Almbus (no. 415) brings you directly from the Mühlbach train station.

The winter hike starts at the Zumis parking lot, which can be reached via Rodeneck. From there, follow the wide Forest Road No. 2 to the Pianer Kreuz Chapel. If you would like to extend the hike, you can continue up to the Astjoch. Alternatively, take the Creation Trail No. 4, which runs parallel through the forest on the left. Along the trail, several works of art depict the biblical story of Creation.

The route is suitable for the whole family. Along the way, you will find several mountain huts as well as cross-country ski trails. Return along the same route to the Zumis parking lot, where the winter hike ends.
