Coming from the west:

Coming from the east:
Motorway Tauernautobahn or Felbertauern tunnel to Lienz and continue on to Innichen -Toblach - Bruneck – turn right into the Ahrntal Valley - Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures - Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures
Coming from the south:

Car parking and start at Sonnenbar cross country skiing centre. Into the valley towards Val del Rio, gentle walk on crunchy compacted snow (if present) and on road path 1,8. First to rest stop Angerer then on to rest stop Säge, final climb to Indereder. Light larch wood, cross country skiers race past you.
150 m elevation, walking time 1.5 hours, easy throughout. Outbound = return route. Half through woods. Accessible by bus from bus stop Riva Unterstatt. Refreshments Indereder, Angerer, Sonnenbar.
