Varied winter hike from Moos via the Nemes Alm to the Kreuzberg Pass with beautiful views and a gentle descent through the forest.

- Extensive panoramic views of the Knieberg and the Sexten Dolomites
- Opportunity to stop for refreshments at the Nemes Alm (1,887 m)
- Convenient return to Moos by public transport from the Kreuzberg Pass

Important notice: Proper footwear and suitable winter clothing are required for all winter hikes. Due to possible icy sections – even on groomed trails – the use of microspikes/crampons and trekking poles is recommended.
Parking available in the center of Moos (time-limited).

Coming from the Puster Valley, turn into the Sexten Valley at Innichen. Coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road to Moos. Start anywhere in the center of Moos.

Line 446, bus stop Moos Kirche; alternatively, line 440 during the high season.

The starting point of this alpine hike is the church in Moos (1,346 m). On the opposite side of the street, next to the Villgrater butcher shop, begins the paved Alpe-Nemes road, which initially climbs steeply. Here starts hiking trail no. 13 towards Nemesalm. At the junction near the Biovita Hotel Alpi, continue straight ahead, pass the Sonnleiten apartments, and then follow a short wooded section. At the next crossroads, stay on trail no. 13. After passing under an underpass beneath the ski slope, the wide, well-maintained forest road gently winds uphill in curves for about 2 km until reaching the “Saumahd” fork (1,828 m). From here, continue following trail no. 13 towards Nemesalm. You walk about 2.6 km across open fields with splendid views of the Knieberg. After a slight ascent and a short forest section, you finally reach Nemesalm (1,887 m). From here, there are two options: either extend the tour towards Klammbachalm (about 1 hour walking time), or choose the descent via trail no. 131 to the Kreuzberg Pass. This section descends gently with pleasant curves through the forest. Several junctions cross the path, but always stay on trail no. 131. After about 3.2 km, you reach the large parking lot on the pass road (1,636 m). From there, you can conveniently take public transport back to Moos.
