The Ultner Höfeweg farms hiking trail  leads past ancient farmyards. Fantastic views of the surrounding mountains are available from here.

Von Lana ins Ultental bis nach Kuppelwies

The trail starts in the small mountain town of Pracupola/Kuppelwies near the Zoggler Stausee reservoir. Keep following the signs to the Ultner Höfeweg heading left into the valley along until you reach San Nicolo/St. Nikolaus and then continue on to Santa Gertrude/St. Gertraud. From here, the return trip is on the right side out of the valley. First follow the signs to the Ultner Höfeweg and then to the Ultner Urlärchen, the oldest larch trees in Europe, and back to San Nicolo. Finally you return to the starting point in Pracupola.
