General description

Easy hiking path with some beautyful viewpoints. Starting point: Bellavista Caldaro/Kalterer Höhe. Final point: Castelvecchio/Altenburg. Duration of walking: 3 hours. Difference of altitude: about 80 meters. 

Public transport

Kaltern’s Alta Via/Höhenweg is easily reachable with the Mendel Cable Car (middle station). The stop is on demand and must be requested at the driver before start. The Mendel Cable Car runs daily from 8 am to 8 pm, at 20-minute intervals.
