Enjoyable Törggelen hike around Villanders through colorful autumn vineyards and chestnut groves, past traditional farmsteads and with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Especially in autumn, this hike combines nature and South Tyrolean culinary tradition in a wonderful way. Along the route, cozy traditional farm taverns invite hikers to stop and enjoy typical Törggelen dishes.

Free parking is available all day in the sports area.
Leave the highway at Klausen/Chiusa and take the first exit at the first roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and follow the road for about 2 km. Then turn right towards Villanders and continue to the village centre.
Line 345: Klausen – Villanders
Follow the Keschtnweg towards Klausen. Above the Johannserhof farmstead, shortly before descending into the valley, turn left onto the Törggelen trail. It leads to Sauders, where several traditional wine taverns (Buschenschänke) are open during the Törggelen season and cater to visitors’ culinary needs in autumn. From there, return to the village via the Kirchsteig path.
