A hike for hot summer days: shady forests and refreshing water.

Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco valley to Klausen/Chiusa; turn into Villnöss valley and drive to Pitzack – St. Peter 

• Hiking time: 2h 10min • Trail numbers: 31, 29, 29A • The hike starts at the fire station at Pitzack (1065 m) beneath St. Peter. Cross the bridge and walk along the quiet road in the direction of Flitz. On this route towards the forest, there are a few benches to take a short rest. After a 35-minute-hike, trail no. 29 starts to your right (1202 m) and leads into the forest. After another 20 minutes, you get to an intersection where you turn right and continue on level path. After a short descent, cross the trail coming from Pardello and continue on to the stream Flitzer and the waterfall of Flitz (1213 m). The last descent to get very close to the waterfall is quite steep and secured with rope. Afterwards, return on the same trail and at the intersection turn left onto trail no. 29A. Walk in the direction of Pardell passing by the farms Planerhof and Planatschhof until you get back to the starting point.
