This short hike to the Chalet Zuegg on Meran 2000 is particular appealing to families and is a good introductory holiday hike.

Parking area in Falzeben, on charge

Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran- Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling. Shortly before Hafling Dorf turn left towards Falzeben.

With the bus until the bus stop "Falzeben":

• Bus no. 225 "Meran - Hafling - Falzeben"
• Bus no. 204 "Hafling - Vöran - Mölten - Terlan - Bozen" (until Hafling Dorf, than change to busline no. 225)

The route starts at the Falzeben parking area in Hafling. From there, it ascends slightly along trail no. 14, taking about 35 minutes to reach the Chalet Zuegg.

Tip: Below Chalet Zuegg, there is a little pond where you can watch the ducks and frogs.
