How is tasty mountain cheese made?

The ‘Milk Mile’ at Sesto/Sexten provide answers to questions like this. The local Alpine dairy farming world is explained along an interactive woodland trail. Interested visitors can try their hand at milking using a wooden cow and read how the various cheese types are made.

By car or bus to Moos/Moso, from there by feet across via Heideck/Heideckstraße to the playground.

The hike starts from the playground in Moos (Heideckstraße/Via Heideck) and leads along a leisurely forest path (path no. 1,1a) to the cheese dairy in Sesto. An ideal hike for families with children (also suitable with buggy).
