Route description

The hike begins in Verdins. Behind the parish church, you walk along the Wiesersteig (No. 16) leading to the paved Hofweg. From there, you turn right and then hike up to the Hasenegg inn and continue to the Hoferhof (this section leads steeply uphill across the meadow). Once there, you walk uphill through the meadow to Vallplatz and to the Holznerhof inn. Upon reaching here, you have completed the ascent. Now you pass by the Zmailerhof farm inn, Rastlhof farm inn, and Salfgut, until after about two hours of walking, you reach St. Georgen. From there, you either descend to Schenna on foot or return to Schenna by bus.
