The Marchkinkele/Cornetto di Confine offers a beautiful view over the Pustertal /Val Pusteria valley and the Dolomites. The Marchhütte/Rifugio March hut is located just below the summit.

The hike starts in the Silvestertal/Valle San Silvestro valley at the "Schnegger Säge". From there, the forest path no. 1 leads always slightly uphill, past the Silvesteralm/Malga San Silvestro hut, straight on to the Steinbergalm/Malga Steinberg hut. At this hut the narrower path begins, still with the same number, which leads in a north-east direction to the beautiful viewing summit, the Marchkinkele/Cornetto di Confine.
