The City Hall of Sterzing was built between 1468 and 1473. The City Hall, which also has a noteworthy collection of works of art, is open to visitors. The City Hall of Sterzing was built between 1468 and 1473. The particular corner bow window was introduced in 1524 during restoration works. The gothic style council chamber, with its wood lined walls and beamed ceiling, is considered the most beautiful in all of Tyrol. A large internal courtyard connects the City Hall to a hall dedicated to Vigil Raber, the first German-language theatrical editor in the area.
