The two-hour snowshoe hike is an easy hike for every snowshoe hiker. The Samhütte is the goal of the walk - for the way back you use the same way. The walk is recommendable because of the beautiful winter landscape and the panoramic views. The Samhütte hut is not hosted.

The walk starts at the village church in St. Peter/San Pietro in the Ahrntal valley. From there, the trail leads well signposted on the southern side of the mountain up to Samhütte mountain hut, which is located at 1,911 m.
