This magnificent panoramic snowshoe hike leads across the picturesque alpine area of the Frin meadows and offers breathtaking views of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fascinating panoramic views of the vast snow-covered meadows and the surrounding Dolomite peaks. On the plateau, you'll find numerous "Schupfen," traditional private alpine huts. These give the area a unique, charming, and authentic character. The Frin meadows are a special place where you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

Good winter and snowshoe equipment is required.

Starting from the parking lot at Lake Carezza, the hike begins by crossing the suspension bridge, then turning right onto path [6], which leads to the Schönblickweg | Via Bellavista. Here, cross the road and follow a forest road into the woods. This path merges back onto path [6], leading over a wooden bridge to path [16]. The snowshoe hike continues up path [16] to the Frin meadows, where a marked winter path forms a small loop through the meadows. Afterward, you return to trail [16] and follow the same paths back to the starting point at Lake Carezza.
