A snowshoe hike full of beautiful landscapes, ideal for those who love to be surrounded by nature and take time for themselves.
Equipment
Snowshoes and appropriate clothing for a winter hike are required. It is also recommended to bring water and a snack.
Description to arrive at destination
The valley station of the Resciesa funicular is easily reached on foot from the center of Ortisei, using the escalators on Via Rezia and passing through the tunnel to the Seceda cable car. From here, follow the signs to Resciesa, going up Via Roma and turning left onto Via Sneton. At the intersection, turn right onto Via Resciesa and on the right you will find the funicular station.

Route description
The starting point of the snowshoe hike is the Resciesa mountain station. Follow the roadway to the Cason Hut and continue on trail nr. 35 to the Flitzer pass towards Resciesa di Dentro. Walk past the “Ega Ciajiarines” and you will reach Brogles. From here you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Odle mountains. In order to return to Furnes take path no.5. When you reach Furnes, you can hop on the Seceda cable car to return to Ortisei.
