Route description
The tour can be started at the Kreuzberg pass. Shortly before the Nemes Alp, the trail climbs up to the Pfandleck ridge. Up to the alpine pasture, the hike leads on a groomed, wide trail with slight ups and downs. Later, the path leads to the destination through open terrain. The route is the same for
the way there as well as for the way back. Alternatively, the hike can be continued to the Klammbach Alp.

Prerequisite: Skilled handling of avalanche equipment and experience in assessing avalanche danger required. Tours outside the prepared trails are only recommended with suffi cient alpine experience.
General description

IMPORTANT: Before going on a ski tour or snowshoe hike, it is essential to carefully study the weather conditions and the avalanche report, or consult with experts. Avalanche safety equipment is mandatory!
The area around the Kreuzberg Pass and the Sesto Alpine pastures is a true paradise for snowshoe hikers and ski tourers.

ATTENTION:
Snowshoe hikes and ski tours should only be undertaken by experienced and well-trained mountaineers. Always consider the avalanche risk – carrying complete avalanche safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, and shovel) is mandatory. Check the avalanche report and weather conditions before every tour. Those without sufficient experience should only join such tours in the company of a certified mountain guide.
